Never gotten through it though, I usually get bored at the third or fourth zone. I love the grim and dark feel of Diablo 2 though, so every now and then I boot it up and take it for a spin. These games are a bit boring because there's too much action for my liking, and the fact that I can't hit the spacebar to pause the game really keeps me from enjoying the Diablo games as much as I could. ![]() Diablo 2 on the other had is very good and still very playable to this day. I'm assuming D3 is Diablo 3, which is another game I really didn't care for. So yeah, if you have any advice, please help, lol. I purchased Divinity 2, Spellforce III and Deadfire all together and I want to get my money out of it.but its not looking good for Divinity 2, for me.thus far. So if you could answer me this based on what I have told you, does it ever pick up? I'm a sucker for a good story and one that doesn't START and STOP you outside of your own ability to control it. I even remember playing the Baulder's Gate games.perhaps it was just different back then, but that and the Final Fantasy games are the only turn based games I've really ever played, but then again my favorite FF game is 12.so that is telling you something, lol. ![]() Perhaps I've been spoiled by games like the Elder Scrolls series (I've played them all, I'm old, lol), Risen, Diablo series (played them all, again, old), Mass Effect series, Everquest, Grim Dawn, The Witcher series, Dragon Age series, Dragons Dogma series, Zelda (some of them), ayed Neverwinter back in the day.Total Warhammer.so I like fantasy based games with magic, but not this, not yet. Its encountered a similar issue getting through Greedfall, but those topics of conversation were at least focused on the elements around your objectives, not the meta.but that game also fell short and was quite boring for me.ĭo this make sense to you? I don't want to come across like I didn't enjoy anything, but like I said I am falling asleep or growing bored just playing it. Its all alluring to some ideal or mindset or power that I have no idea wtf they're on about and I know they'll tie it into the game at some later point.but story based on only metaphysics in their storylines can feel like you're just a passenger rather than a driver. Don't get me wrong, I'm a sucker for good dialogue, but its quite a bit to sift through.and its all ideologically based. If I wanted to read a book on tape to interpret the subtleties of how these characters develop, I would just do that instead. The character development has been interesting but the narrator is getting to me. It also feels the same as any other turned based game (from Final Fantasy to Baulder's Gate), like I'm being micromanaged to notice all of these little details during combat that are just obnoxious.I get enough of that at work, I don't need it in my gaming, lol. That alone was difficult for me to tolerate, but its just breaks the immersion and slows everything down for me, I don't know if I can look past it anymore. You shift through a series of attacks based on your AP throughout you and your party, then its the other sides turn. A friend of mine said that the turn based combat is different in this game than in others.but its not, its the same. The pace is slow for me and turn based combat is killing me. I think the characters are kind of interesting and its not that difficult of a game (I'm on tactician and don't know why people are saying its hard unless it becomes difficult, later) but I just cannot get into it, its boring. I just finished Fort Joy and started noticing that I'm just falling asleep while playing this game. ![]() Greetings!
